A dietary supplement for calcium deficiencies and other calcium related heath issues.
Liquid calcium is a vital supplement for any aviary, finch breeder, or anyone who keeps finches. Both are a palatable syrup that can be diluted in drinking water or administered directly to the bird. When used as directed calcium supplements will not only supply calcium but will supplement the birds Vitamin D levels and will boost magnesium intake. These three elements are necessary for the production of eggs shells and strong bones.
They can be used on egg bound birds to aid in the expulsion of the egg and in cases of soft shelled eggs to deliver calcium to the shell gland. Calcium Supplements should be administered to breeding birds for approximately on month prior to egg laying and through the chick rearing period.
Use: For use in the water or via crop. Crop dosage is only necessary if you are treating severe calcium deficiency or egg binding. When crop dosing is necessary mix the ratios the same and fill your 1CC syringe with 0.4CC of the solution. Give once a day for no more than 5 days in a row. Or give 1 drop (no more) or undiluted Calciboost to the finch in the beak.

Dosage in Water:
4 tsp per 4 cups
2 tsp per 2 cups
1 tsp per 1 cup
Dosage on Food:
1 tsp per cup of fruits, vegetables, soaked seed, softfood. Feed once or twice per week to non-breeding birds and 5 times per week to breeding birds.
