Insect supremetm - High quality grains are ground whole to maintain the fiber necessary to promote intestinal motility and facilitate digestion. The Musca domestica are grown specifically for pet consumption, not wild caught. Liquefied larvae and dehydrated whole pupae are used. The dried pupae serve as "UV Beacons" directing the birds' attention to the product. During processing, dry ingredients are bound together with the liquefied insect material. This enhances the value of each bite.
Insect supremetm also contains Spirulina, a natural supplement of vitamins and minerals. No preservatives, cereal fillers or artificial coloring are used. The added ground rosemary leaves are a natural antioxidant and give Insect supremetm a longer shelf life.
Birds on a diet of Insect supremetm will be healthier, have a higher rate of fertility, larger clutch sizes, produce more healthy chicks, endure shorter and easier molts, have better feather color and better overall vitality.
Feeding Suggestions: Recommended portioning of Insect supremetm varies according to the season:
- Adult and Juvenile Molts
- Breeding Season and raising chicks
- Competition and Show Condition
Ideally, feed during the breeding and molting seasons, withhold during the Resting Season.
Insect supremetm can be offered free choice, mixed into seed, moistened with fruit juice, or mixed with fruit or vegetables.
